I follow a low to moderate carb diet, full of whole, real foods, and I stick to my rule of thumb of #1starchPerDay and my “formula” for lunches & dinners. Here’s a list of benefits of a low carb approach!

Ok so here’s what I eat in a day as a nutritionist!

I need about 1800 ish calories to maintain my weight. I haven’t calculated this day’s exact calories, but I’d guess it’s close to 1800 if not a little more than that.

  • 8:30am – Wheat germ cookie

  • 12:40pm – Burrito bowl with tomatoes, chicken cauliflower rice, cheese, shredded lettuce, and guac

  • 3:13 pm- BBQ pineapple chicken

  • 6pm- 2 Tbsp peanut butter

  • 7:38pm- BBQ pineapple chicken and roasted veggies with carrots, onions, and green beans
